Ok guys and gals. Other than going to a transmission shop or calling my VIN in to the dealer how can I figure out which transmission my truck has. All of the stickers and tags are unreadable on the transmission. Thanks.

You can request a build sheet from dodge online and it will tell you every option your truck came with

Yes I've been told it's either the G56 or nv5000 I think.

Nv5600 or G56. But I'm an auto tranny guy, so I'm not too sure on which. Why I suggested the build sheet option

My 03 was an auto. I had it built and man it could hold up to any type of kraziness I through at it. LOL
I went to dodge online and put my VIN in and got my data sheet. On the optional equipment part it's says 6 speed G56 for my truck. Thanks for the direction SILENTONE3389.
