ABS Module/Controller?

Both my 18 and dad's 18 had pump and module changed.

Mine had 21,000 dads had 130,000.

The funny thing is they were one month apart.

He drives his every day.

Mine sits @ 36,000 now.

I received my HCU last week and will begin the change this weekend.

What size line wrench are you guys using?

I hope to be able to bleed the brakes w/this method unless the group has a better idea.

I don't have a scan tool.

As mentioned above, you must use the Anti-Lock bleed procedure to remove all the air from the system.

You can do the procedure in this video if you don’t have a scan tool to activate the ABS module.

Sorry, this video isn’t for a RAM, but the same procedure will work.

Unsure of the scan tool rental availability in your area.

AlfaOBD will do the job and is a great full-system scan tool for just under $200.

I can add links if interested; you will also need a Windows laptop or Android device to run the software.
