I just chose not to remove all the parts.

Do I need to do anything with this service other than make it disappear?

That message is to change your CCV filter under the cover on the top of the motor.

If you have not replaced the CCV filter yet, do it soon.

Do not skip replacing that filter.

As stated above, change it if you haven't.

The best way is to gut the filter and run a hose to the frame rail; you never have to worry about it again.
