    WTB: Bank’s Product?

Looking to order a Banks CAI, boost tubes, and the Monster RAM intake.

I just recently lost weight and tuned the truck through DRD.

Will these products run smoothly with the tunes?

I’m running the tunes for 2019s.

    I hope so.

I love that I finally tuned it.

Throwing more air in her won't require a revision, so you shouldn't have any issues.

You will like the throttle difference with those two upgrades.

I would ask "if you can still \ or haven't already" to have the grid heater turned off for the new tunes.

I don't know if it's capable with the newer rigs.

I was trying to help with a possible code that may generate once it gets cold out.

This is why I greatly appreciate this membership, the different angles of seeing things I may not see.

I was watching a video of a guy installing one and mentioned that the intake came with a coil to act as a grid heater if I understood him correctly.

I haven’t checked if that’s an option when ordering, but I’ll contact DRD to see what they say.

I wasn't sure if you were doing the grid delete or a grid relocation with the RAM intake.

I only assumed you are seeking better flow; removing the stock grid heater will significantly help with your new intake.

    My apologies!

    I believit's’s a bit of both. didn'tdn’t mention it.

FromI'vet I’ve seen in videos, it comes with a new grid heater plate to avoid the nut on the stock one falling off, and the coil in the intake would be relocated, I believe.

The Banks Monster RAM intake horn has a screw-in grid heater.

It only delivers about 1/3 the heat of the stock grid heater but draws enough current to satisfy the PCM grid heater logic and won’t throw any trouble codes.
