    Battery Replacement Time?

The climate control is not working correctly.

When I go into settings on the Uconnect (radio), I miss a lot of stuff.

There are no trailer options, no suspension with the auto air, no XM radio, and no driver options.

It seems like the Uconnect settings menus just disappeared, mostly fundamental stuff.

All I did was change out two batteries.

How do I fix this issue?
The stuff missing should come back on after a couple of drive cycles.

I agree; please keep us posted.

If it doesn’t return to normal after a few drive cycles, you may need to perform a Uconnect factory reset.

I was looking at this one.

    Price dont seem too bad.
I hope these work for you.

I had to replace the batteries in my 2018 3500 last December.

I searched around and found a local O'Reilly with batteries made by a company with good reviews/reputation, and the price was reasonable.

Six weeks ago, I had to replace them again as one was dead, and my truck wouldn't start.

Post-covid parts suck most of the time.

I got the battery warranted out and wired them as extras into my 5'er, and they are deep-cycle rated. I bought new Odyssey batteries.

I replaced the battery in my Mustang GT with an Odyssey about a year ago, and it has been great. Lesson learned.

I will always get the better brand battery from now on.

    Re: Battery Replacement Time?

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner; I've been busy at work.

    So, an update.

Everything came back when I started the truck the following day.

The computers needed time to reset everything once the power was back in the truck.

I am guessing this is normal for these trucks when you disconnect the batteries.

For the past few days, the truck has been doing great.

    Thanks everyone for the help.

You may want to make a sticky about the uconnect system doing this when you do a battery swap so other members can know what to expect.

Thanks for the update; I am pleased to hear everything works correctly.

I believe this is more of an exception rather than a rule.

I recently disconnected both batteries without any Uconnect issue.

    Thanks for the update.
