Are there any pros or cons of getting rid of the CCV filter?
I have changed mine once and see no benefits in having it.
I want to go to a billet valve cover, but I have wondered about that filter.
Thanks.

Any updates/pictures?
I also want to install a billet valve cover one day and was curious if I needed the CCV outlets.
2018 Laramie Crew Cab 4x4 6.7L. 68RFE with REMAX Valve body/Trans pan and Thermal bypass. MM3 tuner/deleted and 4" turbo back pipes with AFE CAI. PPE front diff/Banks back diff. 20"Moto Metal wheels and 35" tires.
Which outlets?
“Valve Cover with Dual CCV Outlets Billet Aluminum.”
I’ve seen with and without dual CCV outlets, and they don’t explain the difference.

Well, yes, obviously, you need an outlet on the valve cover to relieve crankcase pressure.
As for duel or single depends on what specific valve cover it is, the manufacturer's recommendation, horsepower, etc.
Why do they sell them without the outlets if it is that obvious?
I’m not savvy on the diesel workings on some of this stuff.

I've never seen a common rail Cummins valve cover without a CCV outlet.
If you're referring to other engines, then yeah, not every engine vents via the valve cover, so there might not be an outlet.
For instance, the 5.9L 24V VP44 and 12V.
Ok, thanks.
When looking online, some say they have them, and others don’t mention them.
I guess it’s in the fine print, and it is for a 4th Gen Cummins.
