    16 ram issues

Hey, fellas, I have a 16 RAM currently running an MM3.

I have 245k on the clock and have been recently having issues.

First if I leave my tuner plugged in, it drains the batteries overnight.

I have load-tested them and have no issues there.

Second, sometimes the screen won’t come on, and I get the red indicator light on the MM3 monitor flashing.

If I unplug it and plug it back in, it will work.

Now, I’m having VGT issues. It started small as the VGT wouldn’t close on the warmup, but after driving 10-15 mins, it gets full functionality.

    Now I’m not getting anything.

    No VGT at all.

    Do I need new tunes/tuner/turbo?

Your MM3 will typically draw approximately 125 milliamperes.

If you are draining the batteries overnight, you have another parasitic draw, or one or both batteries are not holding a charge.

Low battery voltage can cause the issues you describe.

    Welcome!

We are glad to have you here!

It sounds like one or both of your batteries are losing charge overnight.

What you described about the MM3 sounds like that’s probably the issue.

These trucks require a lot of juice.

    Thank you!

    I’ll try replacing the batteries.

They are 2019 but showing good on a load test, but batteries suck these days.
