I am the second owner, and the first owner installed 5 inch with a muffler.
They did a fantastic job, but it does have a pretty good drone running down the highway.
It doesn't bother the wife or me, but even with a muffler, it is pretty significant.
Just be aware that a 4 in isn't nearly as loud and doesn't affect performance from what I read.
