I had this same thing happen a few years ago.
I took the vehicle to the dealer, and the following was printed on the paperwork.
The code was C0020-01 (ABS pump motor circuit fault).
Test and replace the ABS hydraulic assy.
Bleed brake system.
Part# 68143491AA Control-anti-lock brake system.

Surprise, surprise!
I'm getting the same message again @ 96k miles.
It seems like when I drive on winding, bumpy mountain roads, the truck doesn't like it.
I'm going to have to make an appt with the dealer, and hopefully, they fix it under an extended warranty.
It's a pain in the ash!

I have the same thing happening with my 18 C0020-01.
I ordered 68143491AB, and I have no problem installing it myself.
My question is, can I bleed the brakes old school without the AlfaOBD?
If not, I'm not sure what to order. Is the option for my truck, a 2018 RAM 2500, OBDLink MX+ / EX, or are there other options for the tool to bleed HCU with software?

I would go with the MX+; you will also need to bypass the gateway security on your 2018.
