    Buzzing Consistent With Brake Pedal?

Lately, the mornings have been colder, and I've noticed this problem more with cold than anything else, but when I'm sitting idle, I feel like and hear a buzzing with the truck, and when I am at a stoplight with my foot on the brake pedal.

I noticed I could change the tone of the buzzing based on the pressure I applied to the brake pedal.

The video is attached; I hope this is enough information to be very obvious potentially.

I also noticed that when I step on the brake pedal quickly, sometimes it makes a quick grinding sound from the pedal area, almost as if my ABS is being activated, but they aren't

Is there any unusual or similar sound when turning the steering wheel at a stoplight?

I want to say yes, I recall hearing something, but I will check next time I go out.

At one point, I was thinking of a power steering pump because of this, but the brake pedal thing threw me off that track a bit.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe a thread here describes what you're hearing.

There is something about a vacuum line with a hard plastic tube inside slipping inside the hose that connects near the firewall driver's side, causing that hissing noise when you step on the brake.

    I thought the same thing.

@jgruberman see this link for more information on that.

It doesn't sound like the hiss in the video.

It sounds like a mechanical whirring sound.

I can still check out the hose mentioned in the video and remove it if it's there, but it's a much different sound than the hiss.

I sat, stopped, and turned the wheel, and it did not change the pitch of the sound.

If anything, RPM changes the sound, but after driving the truck for so long, I no longer hear the sound.

Perhaps press the brake fairly complex and turn the steering wheel.

Check to see if the power steering is weak when the brakes are depressed.

If so, this could point to a weak power steering pump.

This was a rudimentary way to check for a failing power steering pump when a hydro boost came to Ford's 7.3 Powerstroke.

And, of course, the power steering fluid is at the full mark.

I recorded another video this morning that shows the sound consistent with the steering wheel turning.

I just turned the truck on, and it's 38 outside of that matter.

At the gas station, I checked, and it seems like my power steering fluid is a little below the minimum line.

I'm running to the dealer to grab some Mopar fluid, and I will give an update then.

It's funny how we often forget the simple things when our brains go down rabbit holes trying to troubleshoot elaborate problems.
