So when the heater stays on for 15 minutes, and no heat is emitted, does this apply to both seats and the steering wheel?

The HSM under the driver-side seat controls both seats and the steering wheel.

Ensure you do not see the "Battery Saver Mode" message momentarily appearing on the EVIC.

No, the steering wheel stays on; just the seat turning off.

It will happen for both seats, each having an individual 15-minute timer, it seems.

I turned the passenger seat on shortly after the driver one just for testing, and it turned off shortly after the driver seat did, aligned with the 15-minute timer.

I also am not seeing Battery Saver mode either.

Did the previous trouble codes return?

Do you have any new trouble codes?

    Actually, yes, more.

I think the last four are for circuit resistance above the threshold for each seat.

So it seems all four seats have a "HEATER SENSOR CIRCUIT RESISTANCE ABOVE THRESHOLD," and the front left has a "CONTROL CIRCUIT RESISTANCE OUT OF RANGE" and "CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN."

Yes, the last four are the heater sensor circuits above or below the threshold for the front driver seat, front passenger seat, rear left, and rear right.

See the attached codes for example.

You should check the resistance of the sense circuit as listed in the troubleshooting chart.

Since all the sense circuits are either above or below the threshold, I would be suspicious of the HSM.

Would it be a safe bet to replace the HSM?

I'm not too familiar with testing resistances(but I should make myself so), and if it's "likely" the HSM, then I'm willing to swap the part out.

I believe it’s worth a try since it seems unlikely that all the heater sensor circuits would go bad simultaneously.

The module should be under $100 new or less used.

    Please keep us posted.

    Did you replace the HSM?

I ordered it online to save a few bucks because no one had it locally.

It recently got shipped out, but that's my plan: to get the HSM replaced and then post back my findings
