Weird Interior Heating Seat / Wheel Issue?

These are two separate issues, but I'm posting them together in case they are related.

The other day, I turned my steering wheel heating on, and usually, it works without any problems, but that day, it felt like the steering wheel was on fire, and I could barely hold it at specific points.

It feels normal again today, and the wheel itself isn't burning to the touch. I'd never had that happen before, so I didn't think twice about it.

Secondly, the driver seat heating doesn't seem to work.

I will turn the heat option on, and it will turn off automatically after a couple of seconds.

Last night, it stayed on for a while, but it never felt like it was heating up.

I turned the passenger seat heating on right now, and it didn't automatically shut off.

Do any idea about these, hopefully, they're both related, and it's something obvious.

    To add additional information.

I got into my truck and turned both seats on, and after about 15 minutes or so, they shut off one after the other in the same order that I turned them on, without providing heat to either seat.

Also, this time, the steering wheel is borderline scalding hot.

    It's pretty strange.

    How old are your batteries?

    Have you ever tested them?

    Thank you,

See the attached theory of operation.

I would start by scanning the HSM for trouble codes.

Also, monitor the ambient air temperature reading coming from the driver-side mirror.

If you park in the garage and then pull outside, the sensor will need time to adjust and send the correct information to the HSM.

What sort of Scan tool can be used for this?

I have an AlfaODB connection and a lower-end Autel handheld.

    Would either of these work?

It's been a while since I have used AlfaOBD, but I believe it will scan the HSM.

I don't know about the low-end Autel, but the higher-end will definitely.

Also, as recommended by @ IGOTACUMMINS, make sure your batteries are in good shape as the "battery saver mode" also plays a part in the heated seat/wheel system.

Edit: I just confirmed that AlfaOBD will scan the HSM.

It's listed under the "Driver Seat" function for MY2013+

I was able to use AlfaODB and connect to the HSM.

Here are the codes that came out of it. It seems like the same error, but it's basically for each seat.

As a typical practice, I cleared the codes and turned both seats on again.

They haven't immediately shut off, but last time, they were on for 15 minutes on their own, precisely before shutting off, without any heat emitting.

My driver's seat will occasionally do that, too.

After restart, it works just fine.

I never had my steering heat that hot, but on my 2019 Charger Scat Pack, it would get so hot that it was sometimes unbearable to touch.

It has been like that since day one, driving it off the lot brand new.

See the attached troubleshooting information on the trouble codes.

The heated seat module connectors C1 - C5 are located under the driver's seat.

So far, I have been unsuccessful in fixing the seats.

I have checked the connectors, and they are all seated properly (no pun intended), and all seat heat fuses are intact.

I'm not sure what the next step would be and why the heater stays on for 15 minutes and then shuts off even though it never emits any heat.
