    Randy’s 68RFE build parts

I’m looking to buy a Randy’s transmission’s stage 2 68RFE DIY or plug-and-play kit; who’s the best and cheapest place to buy from?

Are any Randy’s dealers on here, or should they go straight through them?

Does anyone have reviews on these kits?

I have 2 Dodge dealer techs who offered to help me build either setup, one being my uncle, so I should have access to all the special tools required.

Are there other build kits I should look into that’ll handle 650+hp?

    All advice is appreciated; thanks.

@DDP I know you offer Randy’s built transmissions.

Do you have any advice on where to purchase the DIY kit?

We're a dealer, but Randy's doesn't give dealers full catalog access, only select items.

The DIY kit from RevMax doesn't support that much HP.

I'd recommend going directly to Randy's.

Tell them DDP Motorsports referred you directly to them.

    It's a somewhat related question.

I was looking at Randy's website, and he includes tuning specs that his trannys call for.

Does anyone know if the standard DRD trans tuning that folks may have on their trucks would suffice?

    It Calls For:

    • LINE PRESSURE SET TO 225PSI ABOVE 30% THROTTLE ANGLE
    • 100PSI RESTING PRESSURE
    • NO LOCKUP UNTIL 4TH GEAR
    • LOW/REVERSE SPRAG HOLDOUT
    • FOR 2019+, UNDERDRIVE PULSE TEST MUST BE TURNED OFF.
