    2017 RAM Cummins 6.7L - 1800 RPMS - No Power?

Back story on my 2017 Cummins truck.

I bought DRD tunes (MM3 30hp tune), and everything has been fine for 2-3 years.

The other day, I was on the highway and went to pass, and the truck acted like it had hit a brick wall; I put it in neutral and revved up fine.

I drove it today, and it was okay; once warmed up, it seemed to act up.

Cruising it is fine, but once you throttle it up to 1800rpms, it loses power or diesels.

I replaced all fuel filters and air filters earlier last month.

    NO CELs.

    Please assist.

    Thanks,
    Ed

]I would look at the actual vs. desired values on the CP3 pump.

It sounds like the CP3 may be going out, hints under pressure "cruising speed."

It drives fine, but when commanding a lot of fuel, it's not giving the demand for the injectors.

That is the first thought that comes to mind.

Agree, I would start by monitoring the actual vs desired fuel rail pressure.

Try disconnecting the FCA at idle to see if you can make 26,000 psi.

Wow, if this is the said issue, I will be severely disgusted with this truck.

i run good fuel, and i run hot shots diesel additive once a month.

1st the DEF pump failure, 2nd the ABS module, 3rd said issue now.

What would be the actual fix for said issue if that was it?

    Getting mentally prepared, LOL.

Well, it could be just a bad FCA.

No, the FCA will not throw a trouble code. See this link for more information on the FCA.

I have a rough or low idle speed when cold and lopes when I start.

I got out on the main road, and it took off but wasn’t up to full potential, then lost power.
