    Transmission Tuning Input?

    I have a 2010 RAM 2500, with a Cummins, of course, and 68RFE trans.

I have upgraded the 68RFE from stock to the RevMax 700 68RFE.

    I currently have DRD tuning.

The problem that i am having is drivability.

My torque converter growls when it unlocks, and I have clunky downshifts when it comes to a stop.

I'm not the only person with these issues, but a solution seems elusive.

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to fix these issues?

As far as shifting goes, the tranny upshifts fine as a 2010 68RFE can.

It's just the downshifts that are clunky.

Line pressures on the downshift, no load, and coming to a stop are 100-120+, which seems high to me.

I must also add that these downshifting issues happened before the Revmax upgrade.

    Any input would be appreciated.

    thx

    Re: Transmission Tuning Input?

My 3-4 up shift is sometimes very good.

Then, sometimes, it feels like it’s coming out of the truck.

I have the same tuning as you so far.

No one can seem to fix it.

If I can’t fix it, I would go for a stock with just a new valve body.

A lot of money to not be happy.

White Ram 2500 4x4 Laramie, Tuned, 625 ARPs, Revmax transmission with a billet input shaft, billet flex plate, Revmax thermal bypass, Revmax deep pan, Revmax billet valve body,
4600 shocks, Airdog 165, ARE shell, Line-X, ICT grid heater delete, Glacier diesel grid heater, stock size tires and wheels, stock suspension, mostly just a stock truck.
