2014 RAM Tradesman Interior Refit?

I've been thinking about either getting a new truck or refitting the one I have.

The truck I currently have, the engine, has been built with many extras and built for longevity.

With the price of new trucks, well, the markup, it doesn't make sense to buy but refit the interior.

This has often been done, but I seek advice or tips.

Ideally, I'd like to have updated front and back seats.

I don't think I need a new gauge cluster, but if it makes sense to get everything as a package, I'm open.

I want a new media display.

I've updated it with a Pioneer head, but I'd love the 10 - and 12-inch display.

Overall, tips, advice, or places to look are welcomed and appreciated.

Keep your eyes open on eBay for take-out seats.

Sometimes, you can get a whole package (Seats, console, door panels).

A couple of years ago, I upgraded my 2015 tradesman to Limited seats out of 2016.

All in I was at around $3,500 with the seat purchase, custom harness to make everything work (seat power/heat/ventilation) and AlfaOBD to enable the options.

Check out the local auto auctions or Copart as well.

The insurance company totals some vehicles, so you can pick them up cheaply and get all the necessary parts.

The only downside is that you have the rest of the vehicle to get rid of.

You can recoup your costs by selling the parts, but it is a lot of work.
