    Low Air Pressure Warning?

    I have a 2021 RAM 2500.

I put some new wheels and tires on the truck and have the low air pressure warning on.

    Two sensors aren't reading.

    A buddy has a snap-on code reader.

I need an unlock cable to access and clear codes, right?

And if I got the unlock cable, would the Snap-On reader be able to turn the TPMS off, or would I need something more sophisticated?

    Thanks for any info.

    Re: Low Air Pressure Warning?

I have a 2019 and had this happen.

I can’t answer if the cable is needed to clear codes (though I wouldn’t think so).

It doesn’t say that the TPMS is an option, but on the tire pressure screen, I just pushed and held the button you used to reset all the other pages while driving; I think it is the ‘right’ arrow.

I don’t know if it was a coincidence, but that worked for me twice.

AlfaOBD software can disable the TPMS.

Thanks, I will give it a shot.

I haven't even thought about trying that, LOL.

    Thanks, AK Bob.

I have heard of AlphaOBD but have never really looked into it.

If you try it, l recommend the OBDLink MX+ Bluetooth adapter.

Take the time to read up on the software features and capabilities; there are lots of information and videos online.

Before you make any configuration changes to your truck, make sure to log your original configuration and save it so you can restore it if necessary.
