    2015 RAM Cummins 6.7L Turbo Suggestions?

    So, the check engine light came on, and it's either a turbo or an actuator.

    The truck is entirely in stock, but we plan on losing weight and other bolt-ons in the future.

    I'm curious about what to do since it's under extended warranty for a few more thousand miles.

    Should I just pull the trigger and get a new turbo now, or should I get it fixed and get a new one later?

    Also, what turbos do you guys suggest?

    The plan is to be around 650-700hp, which is the end goal for the truck.

    It's nothing too crazy but a little extra oomph.

    2015 RAM Cummins 6.7L Turbo Suggestions?

    If it's still under warranty and if I paid for it, I would get the turbo fixed by the warranty.

    This will help save up the cash for the whole build goal.

    For your goals, a 67mm turbo with all supporting mods will make you smile whenever you jump in.

    It all comes down to the purpose of what the truck is being used for.

    Street\daily family rig, tow often, sled comps, or an overall category rig.

    The thing you'll want to focus on the most is the trans.

    You'll break internals quickly if you have the 68RFE like most of us.

    G56 or Aisin are stout and seem to take a good beating.

    68s are great when they have the essential goodies inside.

    The weight loss portion comes into play to help everything couple together.

    I would seek the free Lifetime Plus membership to help you on the journey!

    I've sent in my info for the plus membership just waiting to hear.

    Its plan is to do daily with occasional towing.

    Plans for trans is Randy's stage 2, but I'll have to talk with them and see what they suggest.
