I installed a Cat fuel filter kit, which doesn’t accommodate the rear WIF sensor.

So I bought GDP’s WIF sensor fooler because I was tired of having a light on my dash.

I installed it in the morning and didn’t drive the truck until that evening.

I went into town to grab a bite to eat,t and as I was backing into a parking spot, I glanced down and noticed that my backup camera was turned off, and an error message said it was unavailable.

The following day I drove to work, and as I was going, my truck started freaking out.

I had multiple messages popping up on my dash (service ABS, service electronic brake system, and a turn signal out message), cruise control was disabled, and my park assist was turned off.

Also, several times, a message that said something like 4wd system disabled.

Could it be a faulty fooler?

Is my truck just extra picky, KY?

And doesn’t it like having the WIF sensor fooler plugged in in some areas?

Or is it possibly something else unrelated that just happened to happen at the same time?

The truck was excellent until after I plugged in the WIF sensor fooler.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated because, quite honestly, I have no clue where to begin—I’ve gone from one light on the dash to several lights.
