6.7 Downpipe back vs Turbo back exhaust

I'm sure this has been asked and answered before on but I couldn't find it here. I'm looking for advice on which is the best way to go with my exhaust delete. I thought I ordered a Flo Pro 4" turbo back system but it is really a downpipe back system (part #1873). The tech where I bought it said that is actually the better one to have due to vibration and possible cracking of a new downpipe. So my question is which is better and why?

    Thanks in advance.

The 13+ trucks don't have the cat in the down pipe like the older 6.7l trucks. Plus by keeping the factory dp you dont have to deal with the trans cross member when you do the install.

If your sticking with 4” its a waste of money to buy the turbo back because the downpipe is a straight through design as mentioned earlier as there is no cat. However if you go up in size I would do turbo back

Honestly on the newer trucks 13+ if your sticking with 4” I would only buy the race pipe and delete the scr and DPF. The tail pipe isnt that bad and you can straight cut it back a little and put a tip on it. No sense in spending a couple hundred on something you can do for under $175 depending on where you get parts from.
