I would not use it, I'd use only the recommended fluid.

Inspector: My manual states recommended is the very expensive (BW44-44 fluid) - though on another Ram forum a few years ago a few of us sent a sample in to Polaris labs to be analyzed - & come back to show nothing more then a Dex III ATF formulation.
A lot feel the BW44-44 Mopar fluid was just a - Nice Little Profit Maker for FCA.
For US - it was easy to see - One fluid fits all scheme.
I have already drained my factory fill in my BW44-46 & refilled with -Red Line- C+ ATF it's only a chain driven gear set - (Mine) will never know the difference. (Its not ATF sensitive - like the Yuppie BW44-44 - Clutch Driven design)
Now my dilemma is now trying to decide on a proper service interval for my BW44-46 according to my own driving style & habits - not the suggestion of the FCA guideline book.
No issues - (Though None was ever expected). Nothing but quiet / Silky Smooth operation (Even though I have only had to use 4WD 3 times during last winters ice storm.
I also want too spew this out there: If you haven't done your research - "Just Run the Recommended Fluid".

Thanks for the reply guys.
I’m gonna find out what transfer case I have.
If it’s the one mentioned above I will just put some ART4 in it.
