Does the MM3 have custom tuning capabilities like EFI Live or are all MM3 tunes pretty much the same no matter what has been done to your truck?

MM3 is just a platform, the tuning capabilities lies within the one writing the tuning.

Does MM3 have the ability to eliminate CELs on startup?
How do I check to see if the MM3 unit I have needs a firmware update?
The easiest way to make sure you are on the latest firmware is to download the auto-update tool from the MM3 website.
Then remove the SD card from the tuner and insert it into you PC.
The auto-update software will take care of the rest.
As for eliminating codes on starting, it all depends on the codes.
Are you having a specific issue?
Greg
2012 | RAM 2500 | CCSB | Custom tuned by Double R Diesel
2016 | Heartland Pioneer | DS310
Greg
2019 | RAM 2500 | CCSB | 6.4 HEMI
Got the update software installed and says No Update available.
I have the P0106 and P0542. MAP Sensor and a Grid heater code, I believe, which would have been deleted by the
previous unknown owner.
Last question has to do with adding a SOTF switch. Are all MM3 tuners SOTF capable and can I add a switch if my switch screen has 6 different power levels and be good to go or is adding a dash switch need to be written into the tuning?
Thanks
Are you using a windows based computer?
Also who tuned this?
Windows 10 system. Able to install the MM3 Update software but after checking it for updates it says the software does not need one.
I wish I knew who did the tuning. Bought the truck last week from a dealer and it had a lot of modifications but no documentation about the tuning, internal modifications to the engine, head, injectors, etc.
While I am new to an MM3 I am not new to tuning, have done multiple trucks with EFI and one with a Smarty CR but the truck is running pretty good I think it could benefit from dyno tuning.
You might benefit from just investing the ~$500 and having it re-tuned by @DRD so you at least know where you are at tuning wise. - (If you were willing to spend the $$$ on dyno-tuning anyways.)
You will need a good idea of the hard part modifications that have been done by the previous owner though.
Are all MM3 tuners SOTF capable...can I just add a switch to my dash?
My switch screen has 6 power levels or does adding a dash switch for shift on the fly need to be specifically written into the tuning?
Thanks.
Curious about that as well.
I've thought about taking my MM3 out of the truck all together and mounting a physical SOTF switch for selecting tunes instead of having to go through the MM3 switch screen.
