Is My PPE Xcelerator Programmer VIN Locked?

I'm a noob to diesels.

When I mentioned to someone I might try and sell the tuner he said it may be VIN locked.

Is there an easy way to check?

Your post isn't clear, are you buying or selling it? If you're selling it just return the truck to stock and make sure you allow it to do 100% of it's process. If you're buying it and it's vin locked it won't load to your truck, it'll say something like "vin mismatch" etc..

It's not a huge deal especially if you'd be meeting the buyier in person and he had his truck with him. Just curious, why are you considering selling it?

I'm not really sure.

Money I guess, but since I decided I might get head studs it may be better to keep it.
