In short, any RACE/OFF ROAD truck that is "deleted", it will show that code with a higher level scanner.

    It's normal for deleted trucks.

Obviously the code has noting to do with the ABS and TCS system.

The ABS, which is linked to the TCS, has it's own module/brain that will communicate with PCM.

All this is from MY understanding, so please don't quote me.

Thanks for sharing, this is what it’s all about, we can all learn from each other’s experience.

Are you going to scan for the wheel sensor or check each one for resistance and voltage?

I think I'm going to check the resistance and voltage.

It's an excellent excuse to buy a new tool and learn a new skill.

I would rather spend the money myself and do it myself than bring it to a dealership.

Even though my dealership said they would cover it, whether it was a race/off-road truck or not,

Regardless, I would still rather spend the money, learn something, and take pride in working on my rig.

    Exactly, I agree 100%.

There is plenty of information on YouTube for checking the sensors.

Please keep us posted on your progress or if you have any questions.

I think the Autoenginuity scan tool with Chrysler enhancement will also pinpoint the bad sensor, but I haven’t tried it.

Perhaps anyone who has will chime in.

Hi, I know this is an older post, but I was wondering if you ever figured out the ABS issue since I have the exact year truck with the same problem.

ABS code: C003a-62; I already tried replacing the wheel sensor.

    Re: Code: U010E

So, I have done a lot of research on the ABS/Traction control lights going off.

Some have said it is a wheel speed sensor that fixes it, and some have not.

From what I have found, it has to do with the ABS pump and some spring-loaded copper contacts within the pump itself.

The only part that can be replaced is the pump itself, which, from my understanding, is on national backorder.

A workaround for this requires removing and disassembling the pump and reinstalling, then performing a brake bleed with AlfaOBD.

    This video explains it further.

I am also having this issue with my 2018, but I haven't broken down and done the repair as it is not my daily.

And I have been lazy this summer, LOL.

Hello, since the sensor is replaced with what sensor (Amazon-Rock Auto)

Some after-market sensors do not work well as OEM.

When I have a different code like RH only code I will transfer the LH to the RH side and Place the RH in the left hand side this test the RH as well If the code now is LH I would suspect sensor, BUT if the Code is still RH.

Then inspection for a lot of brake dust clogging the drum area, look at the AXLE Tone ring, making sure as you spin it true and even LOOK for a CRACK.

Most can be done by DIY and then, if further is seeing a breakdown of Harness and DVOM to test wire back to the ABS or Module that records the sensor values.

Just for grins, I love OEM over Auto Zone and others.

Take the sensor you removed and place it on the LH side.

If the code does not change to a LH also then this sensor is OK. Something else now.

Scan tool that has Module PIDs Data would help, and you can read all 4-wheel sensors to compare and see the fault in real time.

Make sure the old sensor on the face is clean and there is no material or metal.

    Sensor (replaced)
Possible cause is sensor air gap
    Sensor Tone ring broken
    wiring harness
    ABS module

Great advice from others above; also, see the attached troubleshooting information for the C003A-62 trouble code.
