If you are looking at it from the point of view of access to vendors and discounts you are missing the bigger picture. Access to the experience and knowledge base of really good people without all the drama and trolling you see on other sites is a huge benefit among other things.
It is extremely rare for anyone here to have any regrets on becoming LPM. Once I got in the door and got to know everyone here it was $$ well spent.
