    Water Outlet Tube

Has anyone had a leak spring from the hard body of the water outlet tube sitting on the side of the valve cover on the passenger side?

The first, the hose looked to be leaking, and now it looks like it’s leaking from the body itself.

Would any delete remove this hose?

Can you photoshop a circle or something to pin point what is leaking?

Yes, I agree we need a pointer as to where your leak is.

If it’s in the location shown below you will need to replace the standpipe assembly.

If it’s leaking at the next opening above the arrow (more likely) it’s an “O”ring Mopar P/N 68086261AA.

I circled it in red. It’s coming off the hard tube to the body

Unfortunately, you have confirmed my research, and I’m going to have to order that wonderfully unique $700 part.

    On sale now for $429.45.

Or get your leaking one brazed or silver soldered.

You may want to slide a small strip of thin white cardboard above the hard joint to verify it’s not leaking from the “O” ring above and dripping down first.

I know this is an old thread.
I'm having a coolant leak issue.
Any updates to fixes for this leak?

Also found coolant inside the block heater connector. (it was popping my gfci)
It doesn't look like the block heater is leaking.
I had already wiped it out with a Qtip. But there is still some residual coolant in the threads I left for the picture.
Should have taken pic before wiping out.

If you zoom on pictures I circled areas in red.

Looking at the photos it appears the leak is at the hard pipe where it attaches to the coolant riser.

If this is the case you will need to repair or replace the coolant riser standpipe.

    Re: Water Outlet Tube

It appears the updated water outlet tube on GDP and DDP website is Cummins part #5311245.
    (now $1399.99)-ouch!!

Anyone know if there is a Mopar part number equivalent to this updated version.
I'd hate to buy the Mopar part and have it not be the updated version.

Who is a Mopar parts whiz who can determine if this part number below superseded a previous number?

I find this one - Water Outlet Tube - Mopar (68325443AA)

    2015-2017 Ram - 68325443aa

    Any is greatly appreciated.

Wow, that’s ridiculous I would check to see if a local fabrication shop can repair with TIG Weld or braze.
