    O-RING 12V HEAD WITH STUDS??

ok, so heres my question, 1997 dodge ram 2500 12v 4wd auto. 290,000 miles

im pretty sure my head gasket is leaking.. i just replaced the radiator, and while its not MAKING HUGE puddles anymore, i am still slowly losing coolant now. as well as oil.. it seems like my boost has kinda dimmered down, and my fuel mileage is pretty bad... so i was thinking, replace the head gasket. BUT while its off, should i o-ring it, and stud it. if i did studs, theyd be the cheap arp set, the 247-4203's. i understand if i did them, id also have to mill the rockers to fit them. and since im tight on cash, i was wondering IF*** i could just have my head o-ringed, rockers milled, and head gasket replaced without doing the studs. and simply intall the studs later down the road, when i have the extra money. pros and cons here, im still on stock turbo and injectors, all mods are listed in my sig
    thanks

also, is o-ringing worth it as this point? it is a daily driver, my future turbo will not be bigger than a 66mm, and im really not aiming to make it past 500/550hp

O-ringing a dd, doesn't last long I'll tell you that, if anything just invest into a mls head gasket and save yourself the headache and extra costs for a dd

What's the difference between mls head gasket and OEM?

Mls stands multi layer steel, the old head gaskets were not of this design more of two two metal plates with a inner layer, prone to leaking, as the mls has upwards of 5 metal layers (thicker) and better sealing due to the construction of the gasket
