I haven't made a move yet.

Right now, the screen works fine; it just looks like crap LOL.

I'll add an update here once I do.

Reading online, this seems like a huge problem for the 8.4 radios.

It's such a shame because, generally, it's a good setup.

I put a screen protector on my 21’ 8.4” day 1 that my wife got from Amazon.

It still looks new, and it lives outside in NM heat.

For reference, I bought my '19 new in early 2020.

It lives outside as well.

I noticed the screen delaminating in May of this year, so that makes it just over 4 years before this started.

In 2 months, it went from a small bubble in each top corner to the top 20% of the screen separated.

That's crazy; they are failing like that!

Were there any indications when it started failing?

Sometimes, my screen will go black, or I won't be able to connect to CarPlay.

I cycled the ignition to make it work, but it's not often.

I think that's where I got a little lucky compared to some.

The radio has been great.

No connection issues or black screens or anything like that.

Just one day, I looked at the screen with the radio off and saw 2 little air bubbles in the corners of the screen.

Yeah, you would think with the money we spend on these trucks, the radio wouldn't have an issue.

LOL, besides, how are we going to drown out the noise of parts that need to be replaced, haha.
