Does anyone have experience with the Aisin AS69RC?

Let’s make some power, and I am pretty sure this transmission is in the same form as the new 21 or 22 trucks pushing a thousand pounds ft of torque, so I doubt that the factory Maxed the transmission out, and it has some juice left in it to hold power.

I have a 10mm Fleece stroker pump on the bottom and a CP3K on top with Hamilton Cams 178/208 and S467 2nd Gen Swap, BBI stage 3 injectors 67% over MY13 with upgraded bridges pushrods rockers, head STDs rocker studs, and a bunch of other goodies with stock bottom end for now.

I plan to get the Revmax transmission and do rods and ceramic pistons simultaneously.

What is the most power the Aisin 69 can hold in stock form, say tuned down and driven gracefully?

How much borrowed time are we talking about here?

The issue with the Aisin trans is it cannot be tuned to handle changes in power, and as far as I know, they have stopped attempting to figure it out.

The Revmax Aisin claims it can handle well over 800 hp, and if I remember correctly, ATS has one they claim can handle over 1000 hp.

From what I researched a few years ago, the stock Aisin will reasonably handle 500, maybe 550 if not abused and maintained correctly.

I run the +90 tune when not towing, which is close to 500hp, and have no issues, but I don't hot rod it too often. I mainly run that tune for highway mpg.

Since you plan on putting out quite a bit of hp, have you considered the 48RE conversion?

The 48RE can deal better with the higher hp builds.

Randy Reyes has his 15 dually Aisin running north of 1k hp and beats the tar out of it.

He built a 1k rated trans.
