The FLO~PRO worked well, but I went with DRD; best move ever.
The question I have about the EGR is.
Do I need to remove all the parts?
I do have a New kit I got for FREE.

You don't have to remove it, as it's closed and shut down.

You don’t have to remove anything but it’s your choice. Everything is turned off with DRD tunes.

Thanks.
Don’t remove the EGR VALVE, BUT it’s been recommended to remove the plunger and spring with just four screws around the housing, then replace the housing and leave it plugged in.
By the way, you pull the plunger, which comes out easily.

Be sure to get a successful completion tune 100% before you remove any parts.

Okay, so I know; why do you remove the plunger and spring?
It’s just an extra precaution; with the plunger and spring removed, the normally closed EGR valve will not be able to open mechanically should it somehow become electrically energized.
