Hi all, I'm looking at purchasing a Suncoast category 3 68RFE; I've installed plenty of transmissions, so it's nothing too crazy to do.
My question is, to any of you who have put the line in before, how did you do the hot flush required for the warranty not to be void?
I don't own a hot flush machine, and assuming most people don't unless they also own a trans shop.![]()
My trans now hasn't failed or anything, so contamination should be minimal to none, and I'm not expecting to need to use my warranty on a Suncoast product, but it is part of what you're paying 10k+ for, so I'd like to not void it right out of the box.
My only thought to avoid this issue is to replace the trans cooler and lines; then, I have no worries about anything.
Still, clean fluid ever touching the new trans and screwing up warranty should I need it, and for those wondering why I don't just have a shop put it in or build it, I'm in Denver, and ATS pretty much dominates here.
I don't believe there are any Suncoast installers or builders here, so I'd be in warranty roulette again.
Anyway, thanks for any input you all may have, or maybe I'm way overthinking this whole warranty thing; it wouldn't be the first time, hahaha.
