    Question converting a 03 dodge 2500 2wd to 4x4

    does anyone know if id be able to put my 4x4 off of my 04 dodge 2500 under a 03 dodge 3500? im looking into buying a 2003 3500 cummins and i was wondering if that was possible.

    2004.5 2500 4x4 cummins, upgrade the 48re and added a fass150. - Burnt up from the front bumper to the driver/passenger seat.
    2009 2500 cummins 6.7l 4x4. DPF/erg delete, 100 HP injectors (dont remember who from, my mechanic picked them) , Aisin transmission with the ATS tranny pan, efilive DPS5 switch, edge cts for gauges, bullseye power drop-in HE351 Batmowheel, rocking 20" XD Series wheels. b&w turn over hitch, 5in exhaust to 6" dual stacks. pretty sure im forgetting something.

    The frames are the same. But why?

    oh i was looking at buying a 2003 3500 cummins and seeing if i was able to use any of my parts off my burnt up 04 2500 cummins.

    2004.5 2500 4x4 cummins, upgrade the 48re and added a fass150. - Burnt up from the front bumper to the driver/passenger seat.
    2009 2500 cummins 6.7l 4x4. DPF/erg delete, 100 HP injectors (dont remember who from, my mechanic picked them) , Aisin transmission with the ATS tranny pan, efilive DPS5 switch, edge cts for gauges, bullseye power drop-in HE351 Batmowheel, rocking 20" XD Series wheels. b&w turn over hitch, 5in exhaust to 6" dual stacks. pretty sure im forgetting something.

    yes. my 2004.5 has the 5.9l, 525hp and the 2003 has the 5.9l, 305 hp

    Are you the guy whose truck burned up right after you got back from the shop?

    So you're saying you want to slip the 4X frame in the 04 to the 03 because it's 4WD. That's easy. It's a different wire harness and ECU. If you're making the 2X to a 4X or Visea Versa, that makes allot of sense moving the frame. Allot of work

    i would be that guy .

    id do it if it was going to be worth it.
