2022 RAM Cummins DEF Issues Already!

I think my 22 needs a new exhaust.

It had to happen on a 300-mile trip from home.

The warning went away, and it seems ok, but I wonder what the problem could be.

Anyway, these PCM swaps are looking better to me.

I have a new exhaust ready to go on.

Ultimately you will want a tune (emissions on or not - the emissions on tunes are definitely less problematic than the oem calibrations IMO).

One bit of advice I'll give you is to try running with your exhaust brake on; it will help with these issues.

At 900 miles, I had a service exhaust system light see dealer pop up.

I went to the dealer they did a force Regen went away; the same message popped up for me later, and a tech there said, "Keep the exhaust brake on at all times".

Can almost guarantee you it will go away within 5 miles of driving with the exhaust brake on" and sure enough, it did.

Turned it off for a month or so the same message popped back up rinse and repeat and it went away really annoying.

What's with the new RAMs and emission systems issue?

You would think they would have figured it out by now.

Glad I have an 18 thats on a fresh air plan.
