Buying A G56 Trans Without A Core?

For those who have done it recently, how did you find and purchase a G56 without a core?

I am toying around with the idea of collecting the parts for a 68RFE and G56 swap, and I wouldn’t be able to offer a core in return.

Do most people find a parts truck with a G56 or pay the premium for no core?

From what I am seeing, some vendors don’t even offer an option for no core exchange due to a low supply of cores.

Any advice would be appreciated on how you all approached the G56 swap?

Again, just an idea right now, but I’m trying to do my research upfront.

Super Stick sells them without core exchange 2k core charge, though.

Your 68RFE will sell for 1500 with a converter as a core.

You probably can sell it for more if it’s in good condition and you sell it to someone who needs it.
