    Coolant OAT vs HOAT

Guys, I have a 2012 3500 with 155k miles and plan to flush my coolant system.

I am the manual calls for HOAT, but can I switch to OAT?

I have read in a few places that they made the switch.

I don’t think that was for my year of truck.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

I appreciate any help you can provide.

I can't think of any reason you couldn't switch as long as you are not mixing them.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure.

I will not be mixing them.

Do a complete flush to clear distilled water, then add 1 to 1 concentrate OAT to distilled water.

    Thanks for the reply, Bob

    I haven't seen a reason why you couldn't switch.

As stated above, get all the hoat coolant out before mixing oat.
