    2019+ Solid Lifter Conversion

I'm on another forum where we are showing and discussing the solid lifter conversion from Wagler for the 5th Gen trucks and their cam.

@cumminsdieselfreak swapped his a couple of months ago, and I just got mine back from Wagler.

He has posted his cam on a different site, and I tried to find his thread here, but I guess he didn't make one.

Tomorrow, I will get the stock lifters out and check them out, but here are a few pics from my cam showing the scoring.

My rig only has 34k miles on it; I've had it since 28k.

I was running Schaeffer's 5-40 9000, and I had no idea what the original owner was running.

Dang, was the original owner running sand in that?

    LOL.

Are there any weird noises or signs that this was happening?

    I have a 21’ with 27k on it.

I change the oil every 7500 and no problems yet.

    This makes me nervous.

I assume the original owner never changed fluid after breaking in the motor, allowing the metal particulates to score internals.

Every 7500 is a good prevention from allowing it to happen.

    I do mine every 5k.

    No noises.

I just wanted to get ahead of it and bulletproof it on my time.
