Hi there, everyone. I am new to the forum pages, but I am looking for some insight and help with my 6.7L Cummins project.
I am swapping a 2010 6.7L Cummins from a cab and chassis into my 2017 Nissan Titan XD with a 5.0L that didn't want the bearings in place on my long road trip from Ohio to California early this year.
So I currently have the 6.7L Cummins in the truck and can get it to start, but only run for 3 seconds.
Skim is what I am being told by some, and from the endless codes I have right now, I believe it is skim.
But along with the skim, I am having trouble finding a tuner to help write a proper tune to delete skim/ put skimming learning mode.
The diner truck was a 2010 RAM 3500 dump truck with a G56 trans; the current setup is the 6.7L to SAE3 adapter motive eight flywheels, marine starter that is shimmed and mated to the factory Titan XD Aisin Transmission.
I also want to add that my 5.0L that came with the truck had 170k when she blew up and was tuned and deleted since 100k; the 5.0 was a solid motor when it was running but not reliable enough for me to rebuild.
My whole purpose for the truck now is to be a daily/tow rig, not high horsepower or anything crazy, just reliability for me to tow around my off-road rigs and make it back to KOH this year until I can buy a newer dually.
TIA for any help pointing me in the direction I need to get this truck back on the road!
