TIP For Finding Tools In The Dark

REFLECTIVE TAPE-Sold at Home Depot and Lowes.

I'm getting ready to tow the trailer about 1200 miles here in 2 weeks.

Usually, keep tools in the truck to deal with a tire issue.

I thought about dealing with something in the dark and on the side of the road and decided to wrap some reflective tape around impact sockets and other tools I would use to find them when I finished the job.

Hopefully, all will go smoothly, and we will not need anything.

That sounds like a great idea!

Also, get yourself a bright battery-operated warning strobe or LED warning light with a magnetic mount you can slap onto the rear to warn others if you’re stuck on the side of the road.

Yes, those little round "puck lights."

Being on the side of the road can be dangerous,

I always follow Dan Bongino's #1 rule: "dont get dead."

My trailer has cones, an emergency amber light bar, and puck lights on my truck.

But so far, I have never broken down; I am too proactive for that, but I am ready if it ever does happen.

    Exactly!

Being in the fire service for over 40 years, I've seen my share of wrecks and fatalities from people being broken down on the side of the road and other drivers not paying attention because they are looking at their phone's exhaustion, rubbernecking, etc.

Take care of number one yourself!

I also forgot to add my orange vest with reflective stripes under my rear jump seat.
