Your best option is to contact MM3 Power for tech support or contact your tuner.

    Are your batteries fully charged?

    You need at least 12.6V.

Hook a battery charger up while you download it and see if that helps.

If not, contact MM3 as Bob described.

I ran into a similar issue a while back.

Dash was showing 12.5v as well, with both batteries testing great

It panned out the slightest corrosion between the terminals on my accessory wires, causing the lack of voltage to the truck.

After feeling like a tweaker out front of my house with a scrub brush, sandpaper, and corrosion-preventative spray, it instantly fixed the issue.

    Re: MM3 Tuner - Error 14101?

I tried everything, but still no luck.

    But there is one thing.

    I didn’t check the ECM.

The engine was replaced with a different ECM; I’m unsure if it was VIN programmed.

I have the original ecm with the same vin on the truck, and I will put the original one on and see what it does.

    Re: MM3 Tuner - Error 14101?

I installed the original ECM, and there is no difference.

It’s still stuck in a loop.

I try to recover the stock tune, but it stays at 0%, and then I get the error.

The truck ran before but does not start, and all the lights are on the dash.

    I hooked up a booster, and I’m getting 13.5v.

Everything is plugged in; I checked it 5 times.

I called mm3, and they told me to get a bypass cable, so I did and installed it.

    Didn’t make a difference.

Then, I called MM3 again, and they said to remove the bypass cable because it won’t work.

I’m not getting any response from MM3; I emailed and called.

I’m starting to think this is all a waste of money.

I ran into this with my 21’ using EFi live.

A smart guy on an EFi live forum suggested pulling fuses, specifically ones for the radio, and trying to flash back to stock.

If it goes through, start over and use the pcm that the tube is written for.

It would be worth a shot.

Also, the tuner had me borrow an EZ Lynk and tried to get it to connect, but it wouldn’t.

If it had of, they said flashing a stock tune with a different tuner sometimes works.

I think I figured it out.

When the battery power goes below 12.6V, the MM3 times out and scrambles everything, and the gateway module gets fried.

I just changed the gateway module, and the truck is back to stock.

I plugged in the MM3, and it now shows both little green lights on the bottom right of the monitor, so everything looks like it’s working; I need to maintain good voltage and load the tune.
