If it's not leaking, clean the top and bottom rubber gaskets well, and it shouldn't be an issue.
If you remove the rocker box, you'll need another seal, which differs from the valve cover gasket.

I can't explain it; I am running OS Version 17.5.1 on mine and tried it on one with OS 17.5, but it's still not working.
