2018 RAM 2500 6.7L Cummins 4x4 has some slight noticeable surge in reverse and drive; from everything I have read, FCA is possibly the culprit.
My understanding is that it's plug-and-play, but I may be wrong.
So, I ordered one from Geno's, installed it, cranked it, and checked for leaks, but it did not drive until yesterday.
There is a surge in drive and reverse that is noticeably worse with the new FC; put the old one back in.
Do I need to use AlfaOBD to turn the new actuator on, or did I get a bad one from Geno's?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.
