    Gears - 4.56?

    Good day, RAM addicts.

I just had my stage 2 tranny installed.

    I'm doing the 500-mile break-in right now.

Got the tranny from Next Gen Drivetrain With the Project Carbon valve body. Great customer service.

I need to replace my gear.

    I am going with 4.56.

    I need recommendations for gears.

Nitro does not have it for my year truck, and I hear bad things about Yukon.

Are there any other good gear providers?

    Thanks for the help.

I am in San Antonio as well if anyone has some for sale.

    I regeared to 4.44s.

    I'm on 37s.

    AAM makes the gear sets.

I'm pretty sure AAM is the OEM brand.

    @Cummins_Legend

4.30's are back ordered like crazy with Nitro.

I just went with Yukon, as you mentioned, Yukon doesn't have the 4.30's.

    They offer 4.56 or 4:88.

If you tow heavy all the time, go with the 4.88's " this was straight from Yukon."

I noticed one he'll of a difference over the 3.73 gears I have, as I also went with their front and rear covers.

I have roughly 1k miles on mine so far.

Quality is there, customer support is there, and the biggest thing they offer is warranty.

They offer a lifetime warranty for I believe 100 bucks.

This covers anything and everything aside from labor.

If you forget to fill a differential with fluid and smoke all the gears up, they'll send a brand-new set no questions asked other than I believe a photo " I could be wrong."

After break in heat cycle session, drain the fluid.

I went with the redline full synthetic shockproof fluid after the drain.

It all boils down to who is installing the gears and verifying the gear mesh is properly done.

I have no sound difference at all over my stock gears.

I'm just one verified Yukon buyer with my review with them.

Hope it kind of helps you out with comfort if you run them.

If you do, make sure you register your warranty for the gears when you receive them.

It's on a card inside one of the gear packages.

I think you must complete it within 30 days of purchase.

Edit: This is if you have 37" tires.
