    P1207 Generator 2 Circuit Open?

Ok, I got up this morning and drove the truck down to Amelia to run errands, and then I got back, and as soon as I got off the interstate, the truck wouldn't go.

It would idle in gear but not go when giving fuel.

It's like the 5mph limit kicked in.

I got a code for the P1207 generator 2 circuit open.

I am stuck on the side of the road now.

Try to clear the code from the monitor first.

    I cleared the code.

Would make the truck only do 5 MPH?

Also, do we need to unplug any connections or things once it's lost weight?

    I wasn't sure about that.

Mine is on the "stealth" weight loss plan under the hood with everything still plugged in.

    There is zero problem here.

No need to unplug anything under the hood.
