2018 RAM 2500 - Park Sense Help!

Hello!

I've got a 2018 RAM 2500 and changed the bumpers to aftermarket.

I've broken a few of the sensors and left it like that.

I've also had them turned off via the button on the cluster panel.

Recently, it was bumped on, and now that the ECM knows there's a problem, it won't stop dinging!

I don't want to repair them, but is there a way to stop this?

Great question.

Have you tried disconnecting power from the Parktronics control module?

First, try removing F95; see the attached wiring diagram for my 2014.

Note, F95 also powers the rear view camera, this is just a test to see if powering down the Parktronics module will stop the dinging. If this works then the C1 connector will need to be disconnected from the Parktronics module and fuse F95 reinstalled.

No, sir, haha.

I'm leaving for a trip in 2 weeks, and I will look into what you suggested this weekend.

My son's 91 12valve has taken up all my time these last few weeks.
