Write ECM request failed!
Error: 12161: Running while being programmed is what the internet says; I'm not sure how that came about; I never started the truck at all.
I'll disconnect the batteries (again) and leave for about 15min.
I am still waiting for MM3 to return the email.
No change, same error code.
Removed both terminals for 30min, attempted to flash, same issue and error code.

Getting recovery file from MM3, not that you guys need an update every step, but it will help keep this process in order.
MM3 is sending a recovery file tomorrow.
I've answered the same questions several times.
No bypass, removed all the EZ Lynk components and SOTF switch, seated all the connections that were off, etc.
I've done my due diligence prior to asking for assistance.
If the recovery file doesn't work tomorrow, it's going in the trash can, and I'm done with it.

Curious, was the previous tuner "EZ Lynk" mentioned at the point of buying the current platform "MM3?"
More than likely, some tuners don't use a true Mopar stock file when sending tunes or making revisions.
They modify the stock file to work on specific platforms.
As @IGOTACUMMINS said, that will without a doubt be the fix.

@Corkey Yes, but I think the recovery file is what I'll need.
I just looked at a 3500; a guy at work has the same setup; all my wiring and connections are the same, so we will start with the recovery file and see what happens.
I've cooled down from yesterday evening; it's hot & humid and gets my nerves on edge.
The recovery file has arrived; I have to pull it on an unclassified computer so it doesn't get encrypted, but we should know something shortly.
It may be this afternoon, I did not bring my battery chargers to work today.
The recovery file is writing to ECM, progress is being made.
