    MM3 Tuner Install Help?

Well, I’ve done everything I can about this tuner.

It will not flash the ECM.

I hooked to two battery chargers, everything off, and read every MM3 troubleshooting guide, but nothing.

I'm not sure where to even put this to ask for assistance, but this thing is not working at all for me.

    That sucks, man.

I’d say call MM3 or the tuner.

    What year and model truck?

Goes without saying, but is the ignition in run and the vehicle completely in park (sometimes it will halfway go into park on my 21')?

Check all the wiring going into the OBD2 to ensure nothing is loose.

I know with my Autocal, I have to use a bypass cable to get into the pcm.

If your truck is 22’ or newer, I think there’s special tuning for the MM3, not sure, though.

For Autocal and EZ Lynk, the PCM has to be taken out and bench flashed on 22’ and up trucks.

18, it keeps saying it fails.

Turn off the ignition and press ok to reset.

I turn the key off, open/shut the door to kill the acc mode, wait 2 minutes, and hit ok; then it says fail again.

    I guess I’ll have to call MM3.

I’ve done everything I can find before asking here; I don’t want to be that guy who didn’t try “everything.”

Are you turning the key two clicks to the “run” position?

Do you see two green symbols in the lower right corner of the MM3 display?

I will do that; I figured I’d ask the brain trust before calling for the Hail Mary.

Good plan, probably something simple; hopefully, we will all learn from your experience.

Is your OBD port in stock configuration without any security bypass installed?

OBD stock had Auto Agent pull that for this and send whatever "stock" tune was there to IGC.

Also, have the ABS service lights on the dash, which will not clear.

May have the same issue as @rynods; I'll make a call to MM3 sometime today.

***Also, thank you, mods, for moving to the right section.

Morning Update: I sent MM3 an email with my stock/tune files; I figured they might want to see those anyway.

I left the phone number on the email; perhaps it's a simple fix they can look at and return.
