OK, look at the picture closely.

I had taken a picture randomly showing my buddy I was changing the transmission fluid.

I was looking through pictures when I noticed this.

There appears to be a bolt that is backed off on the valve body.

    Am I seeing things?

That top left bolt does look like it’s backed out.

That’s the one I’m seeing, with a washer, right?

So, I will have to drop this pan and switch everything out again.

I will take it to a shop I trust and have them review the valve body well.

Do you have any thoughts on driving it there?

Let’s get some more opinions first.

I am wondering if it’s possibly an optical illusion looking at it again.

Yeah, that’s a good idea too.

I’ll send this picture to the shop tomorrow morning too.

There are two bolts that do not thread that happened to be in line in that picture; you have nothing wrong right now.

Ok, so the silver bolt and washer on the left side of the picture is what you are saying doesn’t thread?

    I see a washer.

It's two silver bolts that show about a quarter inch of threads they just plug holes

The angle of your picture just has them perfectly in line.

Here this should make more sense.

Ok, that is a much clearer picture.

That valve body has two notches whereas mine has one (maybe because it’s a 5th Gen with an added UD solenoid in that area?).

It still looks like that bolt is backed out of there.

What is that area responsible for?

I do have a grabby 1-2 shift, but normal wear in the pan when I changed the fluid.
