I'm not sure if the C&C has the exhaust pressure sensor, but if it does, let’s try unplugging it to see if anything changes.

2014 RAM 3500 (Aisin) 3.73 4X4 Limited Crew Cab Long Bed DRW. Oil Bypass Filter, Fuel Filtration Kit, Cold Air Intake, City Diesel Actuator and 50 Gallon Aux Fuel Tank.
Unplugged, but no change.
I'm just throwing things out there now.
ECM?
Even though GDP says it's not their tune, could it be?
I don't see things/tuning code changing randomly when it worked initially.
Maybe they have turbo or actuator codes blocked?
If I could go back, I'd have gone with Ray to DRD, but I didn't know about his stuff before I made my purchase.
Should I drain the coolant and remove the actuator to check the arm movement?
I'm just lost.
I know by sound and feeling that things are different, but I can't seem to find the exact culprit.
Agree, if the tuning worked fine prior to the exhaust leak repair, something else must be going on.
You also mentioned seeing an increase in black exhaust smoke.
This is a result of excess fuel burning badly (Air intake leaks/restrictions or overfueling).
Please see the attached information on black exhaust smoke.
A bad ECM would be last on my list, but the MAF or MAP sensors may be reporting skewed information to the ECM.
It’s difficult to troubleshoot without any trouble codes and not knowing what codes may have been tuned out.
I would recommend recording the actual vs. desired VGT and fuel rail pressure actual vs. desired with your MM3 and plotting them on a graph rather than just watching the screen.
This information will allow you to review and rule out a sticking VGT actuator or sticking FCA.

All we have ever done to a C&C is a 5 HP Power Tune.
They are a different motor and can't handle sound tunes or much more power than 5HP.
That is a California carb emissions motor, and you are damaging it by running anything else.
The C&C is very tricky to tune.

Thanks for your wisdom and advice, I appreciate the reality check.

Unfortunately, I had already made the purchase before joining this site and learning of Ray at DRD.
Now I'm assuming being able to reach him for help or tunes is a no go?
Honestly, deleting the DEF and EGR were the most pertinent things to me but did get the sound tunes and HP tunes GDP offered.
All I run is the stock HP or the 50HP tune. Never did anything higher for the HP tunes.
The sound tunes were an added bonus at the time, or so I thought.
I took a couple of data logs today.
I'll see if I can get them onto a computer and load them here.
To everyone for the help so far!
The reality is that you should only use the stock tune and forget about the sound tunes. DRD is no longer available.

I know it's a chunk of money, but you will not regret going with the Plus membership if you choose to go that route.
Yeah, DRD is gone, but we aren't entirely screwed because of it.
Family looks out for family; that's what I see happening here ever since then.
