    GDP Mega-Flo Stardard Grid Heater?

My grid heater was deleted, and last winter, during cold mornings with remote start, my truck would throw a code.

So, to please the computer, I have purchased a GDP Mega-Flo standard single-element heater to add back to the truck.

My question is about the connection of the cable to the new heater.

One bolt has an insulating washer, washer & nut and is longer than the one on the opposite side that doesn’t have the insulator.

Where the company logo is located on the heater, I’m assuming the stud with the insulator is the connection point.

Is adding the cable here and placing another nut on top to tighten the terminal down the correct connection?

I have the GDP dual-element heater.

The power wire is connected to the longer stud with another nut and grounded via the mounting bolts.

The single element should draw enough current, provide the voltage drop, and satisfy the PCM's code setting logic.
