Turbo Failed Again!

What are your fuel rail pressure actual and desired doing?

Injection pressure is 4.6 kpsi actual and desired.

I started it up again, and the vane position actual was at 0 right away with desired at like 46. It ran perfectly fine until the vanes went up back up and stuck.

I did notice it’s reading 4 psi of boost with just the ignition on not even running?

I don’t think it’s having any trouble with fuel or injectors.

ATS is going to take the turbo in for warranty, so I will see what they say.

Thinking after checking into a few of the things suggested above with the fuel and injectors I don’t think it’s anything of that sort I’m actually past warranty with the ATS turbo by a few months but they did send me a warranty return slip.

I’ll have to send it to them to check out, so hopefully, they will cover it.

Worst case, I was thinking of going non VGT.

Contacted ATS, and it turns out I was over 4 months past the 2 year warranty.

They were great to work with and ended up being the actuator failed.

They covered it and are shipping it back now.
